Staybridge Suites - University Area OSU, an IHG Hotel

After our first 3 nights I would have very easily have rated everything perfect. Then the strange parking problem (see "didn't like" below) started. Other than that everything remained perfect.

Hotel staff was extremely nice and pleasant. The hotel looked very nice and closely located near the OSU campus. Great value for the money. Room and bed were very comfortable.

Everything was great. Very welcoming front desk... at anytime. Millie was the night shift worker. She was a sweetheart. She took picture for us & with us. We had great conversation with her. Angie, in the breakfast area, was very kind.

The lady who checked us in was phenomenal. She treated my grandkids like people and didn't act like they were not welcome there with me. I requested a crib when I reserved my room, which wasn't there when I arrived, and she went hunting it down for me along with extra bedding. And the beds were amazingly comfortable.

I really liked this hotel. We came in late and left early, though, so I can't say too much. We were on a 17-hour drive and decided last minute late at night to stop. I was glad we did. The bed was comfortable. The TV swiveled well to the sofa and bed (studio suite). I honestly can't remember much, but I do remember telling my husband that I liked the room. I liked the decor in our room.. the colors. It looked sharp. The breakfast was great... and the round booth with the tall back (it might've gone up to the ceiling.. can't remember) for privacy that we sat in. The only thing I'd suggest is chocolate chips for the waffles... but that's just me being picky because it was more than adequate. Some guy was overly complaining about something really ridiculous to the guy at the front desk, but the receptionist kept his cool and was kind under the pressure as far as I could see.
